Grant Opportunities for Restaurant Owners & Workers

  • Restaurant Resiliency Program - a state program which provides New York's regional food banks with the funding to source meals from qualified restaurants that will be delivered to emergency feeding programs associated with the food bank's network of providers, such as food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. Emergency food providers will work directly with restaurants that are deemed eligible for the program by the Department to create an agreement plan to suit their locations and participant's needs. Restaurants will need to show the capacity to create meals aligning with MyPlate.gov standards, be up to date with licensing requirements, and have passed health inspections. Participating restaurants are encouraged to use New York ingredients where possible to support New York's farmers. Restaurants can apply for the program here.
    Restaurant Revitalization Fund - a federal grant program for eligible restaurants, bars and other qualifying businesses impacted by the pandemic, administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA). The fund has been depleted, but you can advocate for its replenishment using these tools . En español.
